About Indian Nations Audubon Society

Indian Nations Audubon Society serves the following counties in Oklahoma on behalf of the National Audubon Society:
Adair, Cherokee, Haskell, Mayes, McIntosh, Muskogee, Pittsburgh, Sequoyah, Wagoner, & other southeastern counties.

The National Audubon Society's mission is "to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their
habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth's biological diversity.
”  Therefore, the mission of Indian Nations Audubon Society
is to fulfill the National Audubon Society mission at our local chapter level.

“We envision a world where humankind accepts the obligations of being part of nature, especially the obligation of stewardship.
We seek to shape a culture in which the violation of nature is socially, politically, and morally unacceptable.  In short, we seek a
culture of conservation and an environmental ethic.”
